V1.08 game always crashes on Act 1 turn 1

Went through tutorial mission without issues, but ending the 1st turn always crashes the game. There are Steel Legion and Ork autosaves visible, but both can't be loaded. Replaying the turn changes nothing, just same CTD.

Almost the same here, but I can't even finish the tutorial after 1.08 update. Autosaves are present (mine, Jaxxon's and Training opponent) but game crashes when it tries to autosave opponent's turn. I met this bug a couple of times while fighting Jaxxon, but reloading the game resolved the issue temporarily. Now when Jaxxon is in better place already the same issue is with Training Opponent.

UPDATE: My log file isn't much informative but nevertheless...

Well I'm completely stuck. I have a feeling this is entirely due to the V1.08 patch itself. The attached log file says as much.

Guys, sorry for this problem. We think we have fixed it. The fix has been deployed to Steam, and for non-Steam version you can grab hotfix here:

Note that any saved games created by faulty version are corrupted, so they won't work even with the fix. But otherwise, the issue should disappear. Let us know if you still have problems.

Only those games who were saved with 1.08 are corrupted. If your have saved games are before 1.08 patch they shouldn't have a problem.
