Tutorial doesn't tell me how to move right off the bat

First command tells me to move Valeron's ship to the waypoint. However, it does not tell me how to move it!! Did no testers think this was a problem? Or am I just dumb?

It also does not tell you how to start your turn. I figured it out by moving my cursor over every icon, but still, this is a tutorial, it should teach you things like this.

Hmmm, it should tell you what to do. When you start the campaign for the first time there are popups over the UI that explain all of the buttons. The first text will be point to the end turn button, the second explains movement.

Some people have reported issues with layout of UI at really high resolutions (which we are fixing), not sure if that's related.

(Also, in the main menu options for can "reset tutorial hints" to see the tutorial text again)

screen shot is dark as it's focused on the txt box as that's the tutorial

if you don't see a tutorial, then do this

as that resets the tutorial from the start so it should then show you what to do, the very basics of the game

I did not get a text box like in your screenshot showing where the end turn button is. Nor did I get any text box explaining how to move a ship.

That is why I asked these questions. I wonder if it is related to resolution like you mentioned? I am playing in 1920x1200.

I will also try to reset the instructions and start over. I just like to see all parts of the tutorial once, even though I already figured out how to move and such.

It likely that it's the resolution issue, and I'm looking into that. I thought we'd tested all options for screen sizes, but it appears we missed some.

In the meantime, if you try at a lower res, like 1920x1080 that might be a temporary workaround.
