I've found what appears to be a bug in the US Deployment for the Coral Sea Campaign. I have 3 F4Fs, 2 SBDs and 2 TBD Aircraft. After I deploy 2 F4Fs,2SBDs and 2TBDs it will not let me deploy the 3rd F4F even though it says I have 5 Air Command Points left. On Top of this, Port Morseby Airfield seems to be bugged in that it will not allow aircraft to deploy there.
I've also uncovered a deployment "cheat" for carriers. You should only deploy your fighters. When the enemy fleet apears you can then deploy your attack aircraft all at once, just like they had all launched at one. Instant Combined Strike the next turn if you launch your fighter.

Re: Coral Sea - USA Deployment Bug
You have not enough supply for the air force and this prevents you from deploying them all, try buying another carrier and you will be able to field your airforce.
There are enough bugs, so well, a bit premature to call everything that you don't get immediately a bug. Remember the Leyte victory conditions you also considered to be buggy.

Re: Coral Sea - USA Deployment Bug
Lol agree with longasc, don't call everything a bug, so far I have played 4 times of coral for US and I didn't encounter any bug.
I think you need to understand more on supply Kverdon, press space bar to see. Note the air supply without land airfield is based on carrier supply so eg a big carrier have supply 10 which can support up to 3 planes plus a recon plane small one. If you have air command but no air supply also you will not be able to deploy planes.
Port Morseby airfield is neutral maybe until the point when you get a strategic bomber then press space bar again to chk on air supply and if there is none to support your plane you can't deploy them too, I can't confirm on that one since I nvr chk on that land airfield.
I don't really get your cheat carrier thingy maybe the developer can help you on that

Re: Coral Sea - USA Deployment Bug
Thanks, perhaps if there was a somewhat more in depth game manual, it would lead to fewer questions on the mechanics of the game.....
As to the Leyte scenario, that *is* a bug. As it stands either the victory conditions, "lose no more than 3" are incorrect or the victory condition programming is using "loss = 3" instead of "loss >3" in evaluating the victory condition state.

Re: Coral Sea - USA Deployment Bug
Looking forward to more insights.
Re: Coral Sea - USA Deployment Bug
lol kverdon, dont really need more in depth game manual you have us here lol for Q&A
Re: Coral Sea - USA Deployment Bug
Yes, the Leyte text is incorrect. It's fixed already in our internal build. We're thinking of increasing the number of ships that can be lost as well.
