Artillery Special Ability

Ahoy mates.

Ok, tell me like you would a new recruit (which has been over 40 years for me), how to use the Artillery bombardment special function. On 'The Canal', my arty could hit several enemy units. I clicked on the special function, red circles lit up everywhere I didn't have troops, but I couldn't find the trigger. L click, hit one unit, right click and my arty moved. My thanks for any instruction in advance.

And my thanks for the developers for the game. It scratches my Pacific General itch that has been itching for years. (And yes I lQQked to sea if this question has been asked, but I must not be asking the search engine for the right words.

IIRC that function is for Arty to fire on target that you cannot see but suspect he is hiding there and you need to pay small amount of RP for it

Exactly. When you can see your target it's better to fire normally. Bombard allows you to target empty (or potentially empty) hexes for a small cost. So if you know there are infantry hiding in a town or jungle, you can take a shot in the dark.

Guadalcanal is the place i use that a lot hahahaha just to be safe spend some RP If you spot nothing especially the middle section where the jungle is
