I am USA at New Georgia. I tried to cross bridge with a tank that had one of my infantry units on it. Tank stopped on top of infantry unit. Next turn I moved the tank but my infantry unit is invisible to the computer. I can see it on the bridge but I cannot not select it.
I have two screen shots and saved game. Do you want them?

It happened to me once. To select it I went in the "Deployed" units menu and clicked on it there. It will show on map and will be selected. Then you can move it.
