Jumbo Sherman

Hello, i upgraded my Stuart tanks to Sherman Jumbo's in the Leyte scenario as it was a cheap upgrade. Unfortunately they don't seem to have any movement ability anymore.

I finished the mission and thought i would try to upgrade them to a tank that could move, but dont get the option in the deployment screen of the Okinawa mission.

I have encountered a problem similar to the one in this topic. I upgraded two of my tanks to M4A3E2 Jumbos before the Leyte scenario and they have been completely unable to move. I kept one tank as a M5 Stuart and it is able to operate normally. The same is true of another tank, which I upgraded to a M4A2 Sherman - it is able to operate normally. I have NOT completed this scenario this time, so I cannot comment on what happens next, as the OP did.

I tried to add a dxdiag file (as outlined in the things to do before submitting a post to this forum thread) and was informed that I could not upload a file with a .txt ending. Same with a save game file (no .saz ending) and an options.dat file (no .dat ending!). Not sure what to do now so I am posting at least the para above to indicate that the OP did NOT have a unique problem.

My own system is a Windows 7 Home premium model, Intel i7 CPU (says 870 @ 2.93, whatever that means) and I have 8 Gb of RAM. I am running version 1.7.0 of Order of Battle - Pacific, through Steam.

The Jumbo moves correctly in the most recent beta 1.7.5, so I assume you both use the earlier 1.7.0 version.

1.7.5 does seem to have fixed the problem - I can now use the Jumbo Sherman normally.
