Missing USA units I'd like to see

While admittedly I'm only 3/4 through the US campaign, I don't see any sign of some of the units that I expected to see in the game, and which should be in it IMO:

Independence Class light carriers (carry 2 aircraft, speed 4 since based on light cruiser hulls).

Cleveland Class light cruisers

Atlanta Class anti-aircraft cruisers

F7F Tigercat twin engine fighter/attack/torpedo plane

F8F Bearcat single engine fighter/fighter-bomber

AD1 Skyraider single engine attack/torpedo plane

P39 Aircobra single engine low-level fighter

BTW I'm playing with the advanced aircraft option on so I do see some experimental aircraft types, but not the ones above.

Can these be added as DLC if I am correct about their absence? Or perhaps modded in?

I already had a Bearcat, it just comes fairly late when you probably have Hellcats and Corsairs.
For the others, yeah, have heard of the Atlanta Class, strange that it isn't in. Baltimore and stuff on the other hand is.

I guess light cruisers were left out as purchasable class because heavy cruisers can better fill out that role of anti-aircraft support. There is only a generic light cruiser type for all nations that appear sometimes as auxiliary unit.
Yep, the Bearcat is in. The rest of the missed units are possibly held back for DLCs. We’ll see one day, but not that soon just right after initial release.
