Possible Problem
I closed OOB. I installed the patch. I then loaded the Japanese campaign where I left off, which was Bataan turn 31 at which point I won the scenario. Next scene was the map that is displayed between scenarios and the little "slide" picture titled "A Hornet's Nest" displayed on top of the map. But there isn't any picture in the slide. It is black. SO I clicked on the word "continue" at the bottom of the slide. Nothing happens. I can't continue the campaign.
Does this mean, I sure hope not, that I have to start over? Or is it a bug that needs looking at and fixed?

Re: Possible Problem
Ugh, try placing these two images in the Japanese campaign folder (right click > save as ...):
Steam:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Order of Battle Pacific\Order of Battle - Pacific_Data\Resources\Campaign\1Japan1941
or
Slitherine:
C:\Slitherine\Order of Battle Pacific\Order of Battle - Pacific_Data\Resources\Campaign\1Japan1941
Steam:

Re: Possible Problem
Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately it didn't work. I copied the two images into the correct folder and loaded the autosave (last turn) file. Same result. And by the way I said the display was titled "A Hornet's Nest"/ I looked again and it is "A Hornet's Sting".
Do you want the save game that I have or is this just a problem that I am going to have and no one else?
By the way I am not using Steam. I am using Slitherine.

Re: Possible Problem
So to be sure, your 1Japan1941 folder now contains these exact PNG files?
Can you attach your savegame (zipped) here?

Re: Possible Problem
I used Check for Update to install the patch. It downloaded in about 5 minutes but then didn't seem to do anything. No changes to the game.
If I try again I am told there is a newer version but now the download time is estimated at 30 minutes. I'll try again later.

Re: Possible Problem
I compared your list with my folder and they match.
I will try to attach the files here. I tried to zip them but I've never had any luck doing that. So I hope you can accept them the way they come from your game.
It won't accept them with saz extention, so I changed the extention to zip, but you will have to change it back to saz.
I will put in my next to last turn and the autosave.

Re: Possible Problem
After pasting those images your savegame works for me (Steam build). We'll investigate this closer.
In the meantime here is a first turn save from your next mission (rename .zip to .saz) so at least you can keep playing. Load it and then restart the scenario to get the briefing.

Re: Possible Problem
thank you I will give it a try.
I pasted those two images in the folder you indicated. I wonder why it worked for you and not me.
Of course I am use to things not working for me.
Thanks again.

Re: Possible Problem
For my download problem I tried again and the patch installed OK this time.

Re: Possible Problem
To Adherbal--
I have to eat crow.
I checked the list you posted with the files actually in my game folder, which I did do the first time around. But this time I noticed that the two image file names had a (1) at the end. I assume that came from the fact that I copied them from your post instead of doing a "save picture as" command. So did I it again and it worked. I was able to continue with my campaign.
I thought I'd better own up to my mistake in case this same issue occurs to others, because your solution worked.
Thanks again
