Limitations to "Repair"?

Post by naturesheva »

Is that possible to have a setting to limit the amount of repair of each unit?
The reason is to provide the game a more realistic feeling. I know most of the force should have some reserve. However, you cannot have endless of reserve power. Especially think about the feature of the pacific war. It's very hard for both sides to quickly get some extra man power & equipments during an battle.
This can also become more challenging for players. I think this can be an alternative option in difficulty setting. And I think a customized difficulty level is highly required for players. 90% of games I played in Panzer Corps are using customized settings.

Thanks so much, for this great games! Let's mak it greater and greater step by steps!!

There are limits.
CP command points
Resources

Both of these are optional on how you want to use them.

Yes, resources and command points are very effective tools to limit repair (resources) and purchasing new units (Resources + land/air/naval command points).
In the editor you can set default levels for all and also events that change these values depending on triggers like turn#, hex ownership, number of unit types left etc. Very flexible.
I have not found a way to change supply in the same manner, that would be welcome
