Will the increased XP be retroactive?

Post by freakinjstu »

First off - great game. I think the supply changes over PzC really enhance the gameplay (no more annoying stoppage to refuel/reload!) and the increased focus on Navy is fun. Very well done.

Question about the incoming patch - will the XP increase be retroactive? I'm trying to decide whether to start the campaign now (I've been enjoying the tutorial immensely) and my units will catch up when the patch hits .. or wait for the patch to start and not miss any XP.

Thanks!

I am afraid there is little chance that anything was saved for the unit from that XP could be retroactively awarded.
Kill/Loss ratio is saved, but that is probably not enough.

New campaign or carry on? I think you should carry on, experience seems to matter not much at all for most units except Battleships as some people tested here on the forum.

The minimal effect of experience on combat stats for ground units removes any value in using elite replacements, as it is now it is just a waste of resources. As a result you are not motivated to care your core units. I think this is a feature that should be revisited in one of the forthcoming patches.
