game crashed to desktop during player move

I was playing Midway and was attempting to move one of my cruisers away from the japanese when the game went to a black screen and it shut down.

game version 1.5.8
My system
Intelcore 2 quad CPU Q6600 2.40 Ghz
4.6 GB ram
Nvidia GE Force 8600 GT
Windows 8.1
