For Game 1, battle plan and my army construction see viewtopic.php?p=50882#50882 for a breakdown of my Moorish army. For Game 2 see viewtopic.php?t=6401
Game 3 saw me facing Kevin Ellis’ beautifully painted Swiss. The Swiss army, from memory, consisted of:
3 x 4 LF handgunners, unprot, average
1 x 6 LF crossbow, unprot, average
1 x 4 LH hard-as-nails crossbow, unprot, average
4 x 4 HF even-harder halberd, prot, superior
5 x 8 HF super-hard pike, prot, superior
1 x IC
2 x TC
Kevin was relatively new to FoG, so a skirmish army like mine might give him some problems.
I gained the initiative (just!) and went for steppe, which proved crucial as Kevin couldn’t protect his flanks with terrain.
My plan was to hold back the FAKES (imitation legionaries) and elephants in my centre and attack on both wings, picking off vulnerable units whilst trying to avoid getting into combat with the pikes.

At which point time was called. But it was a respectable win for Bogud and a good, enjoyable, free flowing game. Without the Swiss Alps to help them, the Swiss flanks were going to be vulnerable.
