XBOX Normandy skirmish campaign?

I downloaded the BA Xbox Demo and i saw this campaign (normandy skirmish), how does it work?
is the normandy US campaign against germans but with random maps and random enemies? Or only randon enemies?

"Campaign" might be pushing it. There are two scenarios, one American and one British. You choose your troops, the Germans are different each time. It's good for practicing combined arms tactics (something I'm bad at).
