I notice that nothing has changed from the previous Betas regarding Speed of Combat resolution and Evade Path Directions in Gold Candidate 3
Does this mean that you believe this is the way to go with New FOG?

I second Ian's question here. Combat resolution is so fast that it is impossible to follow what is happening. It is a game-breaker for me, I'm afraid, Dan. I wouldn't want to run a big competition with the game like this either. Everything else looks fabulous to me - and I know you have a range of exciting features to add as well.

Completely agree with Pete. In options, you can slow down actual movement of units but not the resolution of impact, melee, ranged combats. Even on my own turn I am not sure what's going on or what resulted from combat. Very important this is fixed.

An option to slow down the automatic combat resolution is necessary, and it will be added in before the release. It just haven't made it in yet (didn't had time to deal with GUI tweaks yet).
