Refresh my memory. Is GS 3.1 the descendant of the mod Ronnie et al cooked up back in 08? Is it still the preferred version?

Anyways, I haven't played in a while and would like to start a couple non-rushed PBEM games. I am a grad student working on my dissertation, so if you don't hear from me for a day or two it has to be NBD. Prefer Allies but I'll play whichever side if you don't mind the slow pace.

yes 3.1 is the current version of the Ronnie et al mod - totally different experience now :-)
