Artillery

Post by ulysisgrunt »

In two gams artillery has shown up at odd times in odd places.
Once my side received two artillery units arriving over two turns on the rear or the board. They could fire, but not move.

In another game, my opponent had two artillery units show up as a "flank march".

In each case the guns were unaccompanied by other troops.

What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

What was the terrain like? If there was nowhere for them to deploy near where the computer was trying to place them, they would be left off the map and arrive later. Did you try limbering them?

Once it was my side, and could not be limbered; My opponents arrived limbered, but they could unlimber it.

Did the battles have 64 units on the affected side? Was the terrain very difficult?

The terrain was mixed, and there were quite a few units... Next time I'll count.
