Can you tell us which version of Legion Arena you are trying to install & where you bought it? Could yougive us some more details about the problem? Which disk is failing and at what point during instalation?

The run time error you gave means that the Setup launcher failed to install at the specified location, double check your disk space, make sure your C:\ has enough space to accomodate the setup launcher and its associated media, more information would be helpful as Iain says.

Hi,
The version information isn't stated specifically on the game cover, the info on it is as follows; Published by Lago SRL copyright 2005 Legion Arena Copyright Slitherline Software 2004-2005.
The same error was experienced on either Disc 1 or 2, in either drives that I have. I have also checked out the available Hard disc are and I have 191gb available on the C drive.
System specifications; I have a Pentium 4 Proc running at 3.4ghz, 1gb of memory and Radeoan 9600 xt graphics card.

Ok thanks for the info. How far do you get when you put disk 1 in the drive? Do you see the autorun menu pop up?

If not, can you explore the CD and find the autorun.exe and run that. Let me know what you see after trying this.

Hi, the autorun doesn't, I then click on start, run and browse the D drive, find the autorun and execute it from there.
And then the install wizard comes up with an error asks me to check all programmes are closed, check internet for internet installations etc. I've just tried it again and got the same error. I will email you a word doc with a copy of the wizard error. The error code is 6005 this time

I'm glad to say we managed to get Alex up and running by cleaning the windows temp directory & turning off firewalls/virus checkers during the install process. If anyone else has a similar problem try this solution.

I am experiencing similar problems with installing the game.
On inserting CD1, it comes up with the language selection screen, then on the second screen when I click on Install Game, InstallShield Wizard gives an Error Code -6003 entitled Setup has experienced an error. It offers 3 possible solutions:
- Close any running programs
- Empty your temporary folder
- Check your Internet connection (Internet-based setups)
I've done and checked everything, even temporarily disabling Windows Firewall and Norton AntiVirus, but still no luck in getting the game installed.

Sorry you are having problems. How many times did you try it - maybe it just had a read failure on the disk? If in doubt always try rebooting and start again. Are there any obvious marks on the disk?

Must have tried installing about 15 times, including rebooting the PC 5 times.
No marks on the disc(s) whatsoever (brand new, bought within last couple of days).

I'm not sure what to else suggest. If you have already tried clearing the windows temp directory you nay have to return the game :(
