Grand campaign pack price tag: huge difference with steam

Hello,
I just checked the price of the Panzer Corps Grand campaign pack today and was surprised by the huge difference between steam and Slitherine/Matrixgames.

Steam: 37€ (VAT included)
Slitherine group: 48€ (including VAT).

How come there is such a huge difference ?

Thanks to the easter coupon I will be able to get it on Matrixgames for a little bit less than on steam, yet the question remains.

Here in the U.S. the download version of Panzer Corps Grand Campaign Mega Pack 39-41 costs $39.99 from both Matrix and Steam. I used the Happy Easter special and purchased the boxed edition from Matrix for $35.99 + $4.95 shipping = $39.94--a few pennies less than the downloaded versions.

Thanks to the Happy Easter special, my Panzer Corps collection is now complete.

Until recently VAT was not included in the price. If you check now the price should be the same. See the announcement about VAT for details.

Indeed I saw that, this is a nice move.
Anyway I bought with the easter coupon at the time.
