Ouch!
My childlike impatience can't deal with a timeframe like that...I've just seen some beautiful figures from a company in the US called Splintered Light and the Romano British look so good that they need to be bought immediately...what am talking about...I always buy the figures and take years to paint them...clam down Kev and get your credit card out.
Cheers for the update Hammy

Painted yet?
Have you painted them yet?
If so maybe you could post some as there are no painted ones on the SL website....however I will say that their pics are extremely clear and wonderfully close up too

Greetings, all. I just wanted to post and say hello. I will be playing my first FOG game in a couple of weeks and am very excited to learn to play. Sorry to hear that the Dark Ages book will be early 2009 instead of Fall of 2008 but am excited to have it whenever.
I have not done much poking around this site yet but if there are unofficial army lists for the Romano-British and Early Saxons floating around, I would be happy to do Splintered Light Miniatures army packs for them. The good news about the army book being available in early 2009 is that I will hopefully have the Irish and Picts ready as well.
Anyway, please feel free to float any questions about the SLM ranges my way and I am hoping to get some painted pictures of the figures on the website relatively soon.
David

Hail David!
Greetings David, pax vobiscum...glad you're on board..we can hassle you now for all your future releases!!
Marvellous figures by the way...I will placing an order real soon as I have to say that I haven't been this excited about 15mm figs for a long time...great to see such detail and animated poses...throw in the plethora of different troops too and I think your range will fly off the shelves.
OK enough of the fawning sycophant...I'm British so back to measured decorum
