Indian Elephants/Hv Chariots

Post by imanfasil »

Will Indian Elephants have Bow ability? I would think 100% yes, but noticed no elephants officially published to date have any missile ability. With units of 2 it wouldn't exactly be devastating fire anyway, but I hope it is there. Same question on Indian 4Horse6crew chariots.

Thanks,
IF

Indian elephants will not have any shooting ability, chariots will.

The rationale as far as I can see is that elephants represent the damage and morale impact the animal itself has, rather than any abilities the crew have.

From what I have seen elephant units are too fragile against most HF, much better to deploy them on the wings to counter enemy mounted.

Also Elephant bowfire tended to be short range downwards as a fight in my view rather thn long range. Sor tof shooting from a moabile tower when in contact. Hence wrapped into the El POAs.

Now when we consdier the Burmese we may have discussion about it a bit more

Simon,

Any thoughts on when you will work on the Burmese? Or what the list might look like? Or if you would welcome any (simplistic?) input?

(Its a specific interest, much of Sylvie's family is from Burma.)

Thanks.
