What happens to games with one player deciding not to complete or surrender a game? Another online game that I play allows for a player to claim victory of the game if the player does not play a turn within 2 weeks. This is very useful in the case that a player ignores chat messages and hasn't played a turn for a few weeks.

The ability to set time-outs is on our feature backlog: certainly a desirable capability!
