Newbie: confused with "out of supply"

Post by SgtElias »

hi there,

i have had a few games now and sometimes it occurred that i had a tank, that wasn't even moved at all in the game, still in it's starting position (bottom lower right corner, can't recall the name right now), no enemies in a hex adherent - running out of supply, me being unable to move the unit.

Any explanation for this?

Are you confusing out of supply (white symbol on red ground) and out of fuel (red symbol on white ground). Similar effects but different causes.

Ok i think i missed that there are 2 types of "out of supply"

Red dot on white are the "historical" Problems while white on red is due to an Enemy actually cutting off the supply line, am i right?

Right, and you can often figure it out by turning on the Supply view in the menu. If your color isn’t there, you are out of supply. (Of course, both conditions last the entire turn, so this doesn’t work quite as well if you have restored supply to a unit.)
