Clear terrain?

Question: are spaces like Huy and Verviers considered Clear terrain for the purpose of the 10% combat benefit?

Of course the defender gets any city and town mods, but I'm wondering whether town spaces are considered clear or not.

Yes they are: both sides get a +10% combat bonus, while the defender gets the town/city benefit (if they control the space).

Thanks, that's what I thought. Wasn't entirely clear from the rules, terrain chart made city and town seem like separate terrain types.
