I must admit - it looks fascinating. I've been playing BA (orig) for about two months now. This game is starting to look pretty interesting.

As a man with 50% Swedish blood - - would I get to lead Gustavus Adolphus' forces into battle?

How difficult is it to learn and get decent for MP matches?

Seems solo vs AI is a good entertainment value, HAL puts up a good fight, does he?

Yes - at 1st Breitenfeld and Lutzen, and his successors at Nordlingen, Wittstock and 2nd Breitenfeld. As well as limitless numbers of random map battles against all of his opponents - including Poles.

How difficult is it to learn and get decent for MP matches?

The skirmish AI is a good teacher. And as you get better against it you can ramp up the difficulty to hone your skills further.
