Minor Heroes

Anyone know how to get the Hero picture to work for Minors?

I can get heroes to work including the bonuses but not the pictures.

I tried to copy/paste UK heroes with changed country code to get in Canadian heroes as well, but so far had no time to test whether they appear.

I simply copied all Brit stuff (first names, sur names, pics) and then changed the code to 18 (Canada) for each line in the heroes file.

Edit. did you check whether McGuba's Hungarian mod has Hungarian units working? My IJA mod has Japanese heroes, but this is made in the previous system, with the heroes defined in the strings, not in the extra heroes file.

Perfect timing - I was just about to ask how to add heroes after I had tracked down some photos of very rough-looking characters that were ideal for the job. I'll have a go and see how it works.

I'm still a bit puzzled about medals. At the moment my unit is awarded with the [then there is a grey placeholder symbol], but no medal picture or name. It looks from the pzdat file that I'm missing something that links the award with the image and medal name.

Neither is critical, and it's more a case of puzzling out the issue rather than something causing me a major headache.

I have medals working for all countries in my total Realism Mod. I haven't released the latest yet as I am making the Danzig 1939 Campaign harder.
