Good discussions of Armageddon

Post by Rudankort »

Hello All!

The amount of feedback is currently so big, we cannot realistically read it all as it arrives. But eventually it will subside, and I hope to catch up. Let's try to accumulate in this topic links to all good discussions of the game on various sites. Slitherine forum, Matrix forum and Steam forum are obvious, what else?

Thanks!

site wise none from me either sorry,

but update manual with latest info like no windows xp etc.

update on languages.

editor manual and guide would be helpful.

latest update on info for next patch, what's included now and in later fixes.

update on where it's going next? regarding dlc or added content maybe? just an idea to throw into the air, and see what it lands on....

I have to move a unit to see the possible targets & expected battle results and often I undo the move and try a new hex where I would move to. Many times.
I need something, that gives me the information in an easier way.

weapon based battle prevision
kills per weapon (perhaps in the weapon line in UI) and red marked the unused weapons in the fight

detailed battle results (as in PanzerCorps Ctrl-L I think)

Hotkeys (save/load)

unit details screen (also for enemy units)

elite replacements (This could break the balance for experience)

black Screen bug if the computer goes to energy save mode

ammuntion use (Now it is good for me to deal only with morale. But add ammuntion use (as an Option, morale use too) later.)

vSync

sometimes messages triggers shown not immideately (i could move some units after the condition is TRUE)

right side of the upper panel:
act, date (as written in dialogues between Scenarios)
or the name of the scenario
or again the turn used/max turn (because i cannot see it if the middle shows "end turn")
or (if you know) how many enemy units destroyed this Scenario (body count)
or difficulty
or all togther :o

(german Version)

(user could assembly his own Units. Perhaps you could use glory as "currency")

When you say "good discussions of the game", what do you mean? Is it just links to other forum threads where people are just talking about the game? Or do you only want the threads where people are offering criticisms/areas they wish were improved? I assume its the latter?

I don't think there are full-blown sites dedicated to the game yet, so useful forum threads are most likely suspects. For example, there are many sites and communities of W40k tabletop players, and there could be good discussions on some of them.
