Editor Error...

While editing a copy of the 'tutorial 1' scenario the game crashes when I try to delete the tower near the pub. I don't see an other error reports to post. let me know if there is anything else I can send.

If you are editing existing scenarios you probably want to delete their scenario scripts, or at least comment out anything that relies on existing items in the mission.

Yes I checked that, thanks...all good info. I made a new campaign then copied tutorial 1 added some units and then some reinforcements saved with new name. Played OK... then I tried to delete the tower and it crashes. I have to check the script thing; I didn't find that yet.

yes must agree a more indepth mod / editor guide would help, don't think i'm the one to write it mind you, still finding my own way around it

This is an error to do with particle effects on objects, we had to deal with it during development. To get it working for you just now you would have to go into the OBJECTS.txt file of the set that's causing you problems (remember to back it up somewhere) and comment out any lines reading ANIM 0 or ANIMLOOP. Once you have placed all your objects you can safely un-comment those entries.
