LF and support firing

It must have been asked but I did not find a topic .

a groupe of 6 bases ( let's say roman legionnaires ) . The first 2 ranks heavy infantry and the third rank LF bow in support . As you need 2 bases of LF to have one die, the LF gives 1 die in support .

Now if that unit is charged by 2 CV units, will the target have a die as support as each attacking unit contacts one base and so the support comes from 1 LF same impact phase but 2 different targets ..

The Roman BG will have 4 dice from the 2 front rank bases contacted. The support shooting has two bases, but is LF so loses 1 die per two bases so only get 1 die - so the BG gets 5 in total. You must put 2 dice against 1 BG of cav and 3 against the other. You get to choose which.
