Rivers, Bridges and Fords

Post by GuyFawcett »

Hi

I have placed both bridges, and fords on a River tile. During the Scenario these points are still considered impassable.

Is there a ritual I am forgetting to make them work?

It appears that Bridges and Fords are currently bugged - they should automatically count as the road terrain type but they don't - this will be corrected in the 2nd patch.

In the meantime you need to place a Road overlay over the River (under the bridge object). (With Auto-Edging turned Off). This will then work correctly as a road over the river.

This method was used in all the historical scenario, hence the issue did not come to light previously.

Hi Richard

That worked :-)

When you fix the problem could you also add an object of just a Ford not all Fords require roads or trails sometimes they just exist.

Thanks
