The sonar pulse is an impressive bit of programming, bad news for sneaky subs. Is there a downside for the destroyer to use it?

It can't move or attack anything (other then any sub in sonar range) after using the ability. Any idle DD will automatically use the sonar ability when clicking end turn, aborting it if a sub is revealed. This is so you don't have to do it manually for every idle DD.

This, like many other elements of the game, looks so promising that It's very hard to continue to be upset with the delay of the release.
