Hello:
Here is an example. Let me know if I am missing something. I didn't think the SU-152 would be able to see the marked Tiger.
Thanks,
Gerry

Thanks - specific examples really help for this.

Hello:
Another example. I think the Soviet tank is on a slope.

Re: Big Guns Map - LOS Issues?
Was this ever tested, if so by whom, absolutely appalling issues of LOS and LOF. I suggest this is the worst I have seen.

Re: Big Guns Map - LOS Issues?
If you mean was every single tile to tile interaction tested, then no
Is the issue in this instance that you actually fire upon the tank next to the Victory Point? One thing to note is that in most cases this is going to be about the difficulty of following the sight line from tile to tile across the intervening tiles. That said, obviously the best result is that it is clear and 'instinctual' whether one tile can be seen from another.

Yes, the German tank could attack the Soviet tank. Even though the German tank is on the flat on one side of the hill and there is a hill between the 2 tanks (the Soviet tank is on an up-slope but there should be no LOS here).
The only map is riddled with stuff like this around the areas with Hills.

Re: Big Guns Map - LOS Issues?
I made a scenario just to test LOS, and showed some tests:
viewtopic.php?f=221&t=53633
It's easy to add something to the map and test the new situations, as the map is a plain map and just added what it's needed in any case.
I think the resume is:
- a level one should be considered and object like house, and a level two as a house in level one
So, if LOS goes through a house and BA understands that it's blocked, BA could also understand that if goes through a level it's also blocked.
Should also be considered the level of "me" and the level of the target.
For example if "me" are in level 1 and target is also in level one, a house in level 0 in the LOS (ground level) should no block the LOS.
