Flank March

Simple question, can you choose to flank march part of your force in a multiplayer game that is set to open battle?

No, you have to pick the flank march option. However, sometimes the AI will send a flank march in Open Battles (including MP ones), also if the autodeploy tries to deploy more cavalry on one wing than will fit, the spares get sent on a flank march.
