Steam & MP Confused

Post by mkjhartmann »

I bought the early access version, and MP worked fine. I redeemed my steam key and unistalled my early access builds and now when attempting to log into multiplayer all I get is a "Attempting to Connect to Multiplayer. Select to cancel and disable online play" along with a big fat red X. Well, I don't want to cancel I want to play what I paid for, early. Can somebody please explain this UserID, passwords, Slitherine and Steam mess to me?

Unless you regularly use Steam, lay it aside and install the final version of the game you downloaded from Slitherine. You should have gotten an email about that when BA2 went live. Re login, you must use your same username/password combo you used before. Nothing has changed there, whether you install the Stream version of BA2 or the Slitherine version. If you use a different username/password combo you will not see your games. This is my best understanding based on the info you provided.

Thank you. I like having my games in the steam library, but I uninstalled it from Steam, reinstalled the stand alone and now my MP is back.

Appreciate the feedback.
