Manual Won't Open

I purchased Battle Academy 2 earlier today and have installed the download files on my desktop. I'm running it with Windows 8. However, the game manual will not open. This remains the case even after uninstalling the program and reinstalling it, following the installation process as directed. The game seems to function but it would be helpful to have access to the manual.

Hi,

you can find the manual in the folder "Manuals" in your installation folder. Go there and try to open it with doubleclick.

I did try that with no success. The file is unresponsive when I try to open it
with Adobe Reader XI. Thought the problem with the first install was because
I'd erased the German and French manual files. But leaving them in place in
the second install made no difference.

Thank you for that advice. I downloaded the manual from the Steam site and can open that version of the file with Adobe Reader.
However, I had to shut down and reboot the computer because my earlier efforts to open the manual in the game or in the
Battle Academy folder via Windows File Explorer disabled Adobe Reader altogether - I couldn't open any .pdf files after
trying to access the BA manual. Gremlins everywhere.
