My I-Pad randomly closes Panzer Corp

I will be playing Panzer Commander on my I-Pad and the game randomly shuts down for no apparent reason. I've downloaded all updates and it still keeps closing and going back to the I-Pad Home screen. If I do not save after each turn I lose everything. Very frustrating :(

Please close all app running in the background.
