Smoke

Russian tanks in the game are at a huge disadvantage because they do not have smoke canisters (on top of a general disadvantage in armour protection and firepower late in the war, at least in the game). At the moment, I believe, the only Russian tank with smoke is the lend-lease Matilda. This lack of smoke is based on research I'm sure, but I wonder if there is some room in the history books for smoke systems on Russian tanks. I understand the T34-85 had smoke in 44-45, for example.
