PHCAS big units

Hello,

A problem with the big units is that a lot of new made small units have no big picture. It will be a mess with the big pictures. So after long thinking a came to a system to make the big units yourself out of the small units. To make it work you have to copy only one file that is attached.

Copy "pzsystem_uirooster" to Panzer Corps/UI/unitinfo

Now we/you can place your units in a nice background were they will look good like the he-177 in the sky above a forest or the Swordfish above the sea.

I will share the backgrounds with you so you can make your own units and show idea's to use it.

Would you be able to make a set of these for the WWI mod? (I don't own photoshop or any other programs like it that do transperancy - all but a couple of my cureent WWI unit graphics were made by others now.) If so, I can upload a .zip file with all the graphics (or alternatively you can get them from my armoury - viewtopic.php?f=147&t=50632&p=476733#p476733 )

BTW, icon count is somewhere around 40-50

How to make the units

Step 1
Download the free Paint.NET program from internet

Step 2
Open your unit.png file (Panzer Corps/Graphics/units)
Draw a Rectangle around the left facing unit. (Rectangle Select)
Select Edit/copy
Exit Paint.NET

Step 3
Open a background (Big unit) .png file with Paint.NET
Select Layers/Add New Layer
Select Edit /Paste
Put the graphic in the right position
Select Image/Flatten
Select File/save as (take the same name as the small unit & copy this file to Panzer Corps/UI/bigunits

(If you forget to Flatten the picture you will save a PDN file instead of a PNG file!)
