Reinstalling the game

Hello.
Since my PC's hard drive died, I had to replace it, and of course everything I had in it was lost, including BASPM.
I asked for a new download link for the installer, and I was sent one... for the 0.7.0 version, the basic one. Of course, I asked myself how was I going to update it, since hitting the 'update' button didn't seem to work, only getting a pop-up window saying that it couldn't recognize the version or something.
So, I would like to ask, do I have to re-download all the patches, or can I skip some? I'm asking this also because the oldest I can find in the download folder is the 0.7.9 patch.

The patches are cumulative, install the last, 0.7.24.

Indeed, as Kalesin says, the patches are always self-contained, so you should be fine with installing the latest patch on top of a base installation. Notice that this morning SPM 0.7.25 became available through the auto-updater tool, so you should be able to grab it using the game's launcher.

It seems there is a problem. First, it seems I'm unable to complete the download of the latest patch (just when it should end, I get an error message), but perhaps this is a problem of my connection; then, when I tried to hit the 'update' button, the first time it started downoading the handle, then it popped up an error window. After closing it, trying to update the game again only brings an error window which says "abnormal program termination".

Well, it seems there is a problem with the download server.
I tried using Filezilla, to see if with that it would work, but it doesn't. After it starts downloading, after a while it says "Connection is closed, because of no file transfer over 180s ." even though I am downloading.
And when it finishes, although it says it was successful, all I can see are tmp files not as big as the true file.
Since I have already wasted two afternoons trying to grab the latest patch to no avail, is it possible to fix this?

Do you have a Matrix Games account? Beta versions of patches can be downloaded from the Matrix Games Member's Area, so please login at http://www.matrixgames.com/members/

Ok, I downloaded it perfectly and patched the game, which runs normally.
The only issue is that the update program still doesn't seem to run, but that's only a minor issue.
