...if there is ever another patch for this game, please, for the love of god, give the player a warning that a plane is low on fuel.!!

There's nothing worse than playing along and all of a sudden you go "hey, where did my other fighter go?" Only to find out it ran out of fuel 2 or 3 scenarios back...

You get a kind of warning when you try to move the plane. But i see your pain. I often park low HP planes in the back at an airfield in safety to save prestige for reinforcements. Well at least i think they parked at an airfield ... quite often i park them at the town adjacent to it without noticing it just to find my plane missing next scenario. A warning here would be great.

Plus they aren't able to be reformed so they are gone for good!

I recently lost a 109 in Poland because it was one hex away from an airfield. The strategic map showed a cluster of planes next to the airfield, and with rain next turn I left it there thinking it would refuel. Cue one less fighter...

I usually check the strategic map before ending the turn so a red or yellow icon for low-fuel planes in the strategic map view would probably work fine for me.
