Samurai

Post by irondog068 »

Has anyone worked on a list for 16th century Samurai? I have a lot of Perry and Kingsford Samurai that are mounted 60x30mm and would like to build a Korean army that will not cost me 1/4 of what all these Samurai did and these rules seem like the ticket. My friend has already ordered 2 sets of rules and the EIR, Gauls Late Romans and Hun 28mm are being dusted off.

So any Samurai help would be a great help.

No Japanese lists done to date - some will appear later, however, I've no idea how soon.

BTW technically the rules cover 3000BC to 1500AD.

Rules time line

Post by irondog068 »

I know the rule time line ends at 1500 but Japanese Yari were never used as western pike and a matchlock (hand gun) is the basic same animal in 1500 as 1600. So the rules ending in 1500 is no big deal. Beside the Koreans had really crappy guns.

Maybe a new weapon, massed arquebus like the gun but long range 4MU.
