microsoft visual c++ runtime error
Hi, I was just wondering could anyone help me fix this problem. It ran alright for 6 hours over the course of 3 days but then this error showed up. I've installed all updates restarted my computer.

Re: microsoft visual c++ runtime error
Here's a typed out version of the print screen I took of what comes up after Pandora crashes, just thought it'd be helpful. I looked at some other posts on this forum relating to other people encountering runtime errors as well so I was wondering how they fixed the problem and if that'd be of any help to solve my runtime error problem.

Re: microsoft visual c++ runtime error
Runtime errors can be caused by different reasons.
Meanwhile you could try the following:
1. Open the folder where the game is installed and locate a folder named "Binaries". Inside that folder find "Pandora.exe". Press the right mouse button and select "Properties". Click on the "Compatibility" tab. Tick the option "Run this program as an administrator". Click on "Apply" and "Ok". Double click on "Pandora.exe" for running the game.
2. You could try run with your Internet security package (Anti-virus) disabled and check if the issue is related with it.
3. One other thing you might try is to delete your “C:\Users\<YOUR_USERNAME_ACCOUNT>\AppData\Roaming\Proxy Studios\Pandora\Config” folder.

Re: microsoft visual c++ runtime error
I tried deleting the config folder and the situation didn't improve then but in fact Pandora then had a little trouble opening, no matter how many times I clicked on it to open it didn't. Then I tried giving it administrator permission exactly the way you said but still nothing and finally I went into my anti-virus and I couldn't figure how to actually disable it so I just made sure it was allowed but still no change.

Re: microsoft visual c++ runtime error
In my anti-virus I could find Pandora just the auto run so I removed it and added Pandora.exe from the folder you mentioned, binaries, and made it allowed.

Re: microsoft visual c++ runtime error
I tried deleting Pandora and re-installing it to no avail, not only that but now the entire game doesn't respond when I press the play button. Then I replaced the logs and configs folders with ones I'd saved from before the error started showing up but still nothing.
P.S. I was just wondering about how long do think it'll take until this problem is fixed and when it is how will I know, will the game just open normally or what.

Re: microsoft visual c++ runtime error
I installed the latest Java and Flash Player but I couldn't the Direct X you were talking about. Even though I did this its still having problems starting at all.
Re: microsoft visual c++ runtime error
it is the same directx version that comes with the game that you installed cause of other games you installed.
