10 bucks is a nice price admittedly.

But while I was pleased that they went and gave me Time of Wrath free when it seemed like Time of Wrath was really just an upgrade from WW II Road to Victory I must confess, it seems like Time of Fury is the same process as well. It seems too much like the game is really just a patched Time of Wrath. I'm sure I am not alone wondering how it is we can be sold the same game by another name all for a few code changes. And naturally, one wonders also, will it just get replaced again by Time of Yet Another Title?

10 bucks is still too much for a patch to a game I already own.

The game is based on Time of Wrath's engine (as far as I can see), but it feels like a newer game - not a patch. Some major changes:

- Units have a delay after purchasing before you can use them (usually around 10 turns)
- More events
- 1 of 4 bonuses can be selected with each tech level. I think most are very useful.
- Naval Combat is done on the same screen as Land Combat.
- Railroads are now present, used in supply calculations and now allow you to use SMP to go to any rail hex, provided you start on a rail hex.
- Much better interface. This includes a box that tells you how many soldiers, planes, tanks and AFVs you have (purely eye-candy, no effect on gameplay)
- Maintenance system that will make huge armies harder to pay for.

For $10, I think you'd be silly not to get it if you like Road to Victory of Time of Wrath

We think its the best game from Wastelands but that's probably biased because we spent a lot of time working on the gameplay and UI with them to improve it as this was a game exclusively sold through us.

If you like the mechanics of their games then this is the biggest and best :)

It also has our PBEM server for multiplayer.

Thanks for the nice pitch, likely going to miss it this time, pity, 10 isn't much. Sadly my discretionary economy is heading for a rather violent drop off :)

Pondering locating the down payment on a house, yippee. Now where can I beat some cash out of thin air :)
