Suggestion: Win 8.1 Modern + Touch UI

Undoubtedly a touch-friendly iOS version is already in the works, so why not eventually do a Win 8.1 Modern UI touch-friendly version as well?

Windows 8.1 tablets are gaining popularity. I'm using one right now (Dell Venue 8 Pro) and it runs BA2 very well. It would be even better if it had a touch UI. Right now I use either a mouse or an excellent touchpad emulator called TouchMousePointer.

It's definitely on our list, but I don't think it will be in the first release. The main issue is that the touch friendly code is all hooked up to iOS specific code and breaking it out into an optional path for the PC is actually quite involved.

Ah, I see what you mean. It runs beautifully on my little Dell Venue 8 Pro, so at least the code is optimized! I'll be buying it on iOS was well, so perhaps not a huge deal.

Touch UI would be great for when I get me Surface pro 3 please - Moving around BA using the surface pro 2 using touch was unplayable
