Re: Steam release schedule
Well.... the main reason I care about Steam is that they believe Linux is the future of gaming. Having deleted my dual-boot partition some time ago, I would need more of your titles available on Linux in order to be able to bring you more money. Nevertheless, I'm very happy with Pandora.
Re: Steam release schedule
is there a video showing actual game play of pandora both combat and details about the ui, game mechanics?

Do you hope to add trading cards and badges to any (or all) of the games?

Re: Steam release schedule
At the moment we are working more at re-releasing game on Steam, adding achievements where we find the time, but that is about all we can do. For the future however, there is always a possibility.BiteNibbleChomp wrote:Do you hope to add trading cards and badges to any (or all) of the games?

Re: Steam release schedule
Where ever did you get that silly foolish idea? The majority of computers are still Windows (some OS edition) so I HIGHLY doubt Steam is more concerned with games coming out on LINUX. Linux is for garage computer geeks and thas about it.dmantione wrote:Well.... the main reason I care about Steam is that they believe Linux is the future of gaming. Re: Steam release schedule
Sure, adding Steam to Linux is a big troll. Why not adding Windows to Linux then?
Re: Steam release schedule
I have had enough Linux is for geeks discussions in the past, so no need to repeat. I work in the HPC world where Microsoft has a market share of 0%. We roll out multi-million €€€ HPC systems. Very systems in our office runs Windows. Why would you want to use use such a terrible operating system?
The only reason could be gaming. But dual boot did it for a log time, and it is really uncomfortable. With good games available on Linux, I found myself only using my Linux collection. After doing some hardware upgrades, I realized I hadn't booted the Windows partition for a long time. Could have been a year. Deleted it, was full of games.
With Steam giving a big commercial pressure to release for Linux, I'm not worried for any lack of games... One big title after another is released. While Windows might stay bigger or not for gaming, I don't care. All I can tell, sorry assure, to publishers is that I will never buy a Windows game anymore.

Re: Steam release schedule
With upcoming games, will I have to have a STEAM account? Or is this just another purchase option, and I can go on ignoring STEAM?
Re: Steam release schedule
It's just another purchase option. Nothing changes.Blathergut wrote:With upcoming games, will I have to have a STEAM account? Or is this just another purchase option, and I can go on ignoring STEAM?
