Indeed, this has been reported in another thread. It's fixed now, you'll get it in the next update.

If you want to continue playing with your savefile, open it up with a text editor and look for the text "SPMRandom". Then change the value of the "RandomSeed" attribute to any other number (add 1, for example). That will make the pseudo-random number generator yield a completely different result.

Thanks for the file Jack. I took a look at it and the problem is unrelated to the "black screen" bug reported in the other thread: we haven't provided a target prestige past 1991 for the sandbox mode in the code, so once you move from 1990Q4 into the next season, the game doesn't have data on how to perform the computation. We'll fix it for the next update, thanks for reporting it!
