I'm interested based on what you have so far under construction. Given how expensive the core troops are for the Sassanids and the prohibition on light troops you might well want to allow them to use mob. I put together a trial Sassanid list with these constraints but including only 1 mob and it came to a total of 23 BGs.

Yes, 500 points. Barring using Arab allies, there aren't many cheap BGs for the Sassanid's. I had one HF and one mob of the levy spearmen in my list to reach 500 points. No elephants but all these!lured Dailami Guards. I probably found have dropped something and bought more HF levy. May e the thing to do is to decrease the required number of commanders. 4 commanders is a bit much for 23 BGs.fogman wrote:did you use 500 pts?

What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

One of the battles I envisaged was western turk/khazars vs bulgars before the latter's migration to the balkans. Adding this requires the creation of a new master schedule but can also increase the number of players. We'll see.Ulysisgrunt wrote:What about one of the early Western Turkish or Early Khazar lists?

I have posted in the scenario thread, the test scenarios for the 5 different matchups so you can see what armies can be built and how they play against each other.

Re: LORDS OF THE EAST, circa 640 AD
Final schedule is in first post.
Tournament to start on Saturday 10 May.
All challenges to be posted by Friday 16 May or you will be unceremoniously removed.
If you can't keep to the conditions, withdraw now. It's unfair to other players and organizer otherwise.
Settings: no Fog of War, no Double Moves.
Make sure armies are built correctly.
