How do I go about updating my driver?

I am unsure as to how to do this task, however trivial it may sound. Could anyone advise me on this issue please?

You need to know your graphcis card. Then you need to go to the website of the manufacturer of your card, e.g. ATI, Nvidia etc. On the website you'll need to search for the drivers for you card but it should be relatively easy to find.
