Yo, am running a game with the player operating. We're just at the end of the full 1914 campaign, where I'm due to do Turn 101, when the game suddently starts crashing. It's right at the point where I'm trying to load our session; it crashes directly to desktop with no 'Commander The Great War has stopped working' message popping up.
My other campaigns are working without a hitch, it's just this particular one that for some reason has started doing this.
I got a hotfix before called ctgw_mp_fixes.exe, which solved previous Multiplayer problems. I've tried running the game with the original .exe as well, but no difference.
The zip below contains the ctgw-file, the autosave and the DxDiag

Re: MP-crash during loading
For some reason can not pm you here. I'm easy to find on the Matrix forum, pm me there, I'll give you email address then. Hope this problem with CTD get's resolved, maybe 16-17 turns left in the match, would be ashame to lose it.

Re: MP-crash during loading
Yo, I and operating started up a new game, having switched sides this time around. After having played just a few turns of the game, it crashes to desktop too, in the exact same manner as previous game did.
Tried running it with the original .exe as well, but no difference this time either.
The zip below contains the ctgw-file and the autosave. Figured you guys have the DxDiag already

Re: MP-crash during loading
I was hoping for that too, especially since one of the games is only about 10 turns before the end. Would be a shame to have to abandon it so far down the road
Re: MP-crash during loading
More of the same (MOTS), a 5th MP match has gone belly up to CTD, this is really starting to get annoying,
same kind of results as above. Send the cavalry soon, to save the day, will ya.......A fix! Any news on this getting attention in 1.50? and How about a heads up on progress.....

Re: MP-crash during loading
A 6th MP match has just gone CTD, turn 43, this is getting to be more than just annoying. Got a pm from my opponent that the game CTD. I'm trying to keep the flames from erupting out of my keyboard, a melt down is not out of the question. What really burns my ass: That there are a litany of complaints about this game, that are not being addressed on both Slitherine and Matrix forums. The only thing I can hope, is that something superduty is in the works, a "cure all", that is behind the silence of the Staff here.operating wrote:More of the same (MOTS), a 5th MP match has gone belly up to CTD, this is really starting to get annoying, same kind of results as above.
