the game wont start

i install it, then, play it, ok, i see the beans intro video, then, screen goes black, andddd ERROR

i have a p IV 1.7
521 ram
ati radeon 9600 pr0
windows xp
i can play other games, dod s, rtw, whatever, EXCEPT BATTLEFIELD 2 1.03 patch... dont know why, but both shows same error, bf2 before any intro video, this game, after

i have 5.10 catalist drivers..


any help???

Have you got all the latest drivers for hardware? And the latest version of DirectX installed (DirectX 9.0c).

If you are also having problems with BF2 then it does sound like a driver or configuration problem. Checking you have the most up to date drivers is always a good first step.
