Noob Question about Divisions

Hi I have begun to learn these rules now and I have encountered a question thats bewilders me:

What is the benefit of moving in a Division?
I haven't found any activition requirements that would make it useful, have I missed something?

The benefits come if you wish to make more than one move. To do this you either need to have a commander with a single BG, or the same commander could enable a division to make second (or third) moves for a whole division.
